Our Stage II engine kit is for those that have made minimal, or no performance modifications yet, but are looking for substantial gains without having to tear into the motor. Included with the Carb/Exhaust combo from Stage I is the CDI, and a pleated CVT filter.

The BRP Performance Stage II CDI is a proven performance addition that is already widely accepted as the easiest most cost effective performance addition available.

Running a filter on the intake tube protects your CVT transmission parts from damaging dust and debris. Our Performance Pleated CVT Filter should always be used when playing in the dunes (based upon our first hand experience) or any dusty conditions. Unfortunately for us, we learned about it after the dune sands damaged our CVT and cost us some very expensive repairs.

The FMF PowerCore 4 Full Exhaust and Edelbrock Performance Carburetor were developed to work in conjunction with the our CDI to deliver the maximum amount of improved acceleration (torque).
With the improved flow characteristics of the Edelbrock Carb and the addition of an adjustable accelerator pump the engine really “snaps” when the throttle is stabbed. Gone is the “rubber band” wind up syndrome of the stock carb. No longer do you have to wrestle with a complete tear down of the carb to change jetting or adjust needle height. With an external adjustment knob for needle height and a single plug access to the main jet, tuning is made simple even if you have never tuned a carb in your life. No pilot circuits or air fuel mixture screws make this the simplest, yet best high performance carb available.
